Do you offer group packages for large parties?

Yes, we offer special deals and group menus for 40+ guests. We require details: travel itinerary confirmation, age range, nationality/language, gender breakdown. 50% deposit to confirm, remaining 50% one month prior. Cancellation: one month prior for refund, otherwise non-refundable.

When does the party atmosphere start?

On event days, the party atmosphere usually starts around 17:00 and continues until 23:00.

What happens after 23:00?

From Thursday to Sunday, the indoor disco opens at 23:00 and continues for a few hours.

Kids

Are kids allowed? Can I bring children?

Children are welcome until 8pm. In the restaurant area, they can stay longer. On event days, we recommend not bringing very small children.

How do I get there? Do you have taxi service?

We don’t control taxi services. We strongly recommend arranging transport beforehand.

Do you have boat / dinghy service?

Yes, boat / dinghy service is available but requires a reservation in advance.

How much are VIP tables? What's the minimum spend?

VIP minimum spends vary by table size and day. Prices range from €1,000 to €24,000 depending on table and day. Monday-Tuesday require bottle service (€250 deposit). For complete pricing, contact vip@bluemarlinibiza.com

Are VIP tables available on Sundays?

Yes, but minimum spends are highest on Sundays (ranging from €3,000 to €24,000 depending on table). Some tables like 116-119 are ONLY available on Sundays.

How do I book and pay for a VIP table?

Complete reservation at www.bluemarlinibiza.com or email vip@bluemarlinibiza.com. A deposit of 100% of minimum spend is required within 24 hours. Deposit link expires after 24 hours. Must arrive before 19:00 or forfeit deposit.

What's available in the VIP Lounge area?

VIP Lounge offers: Breakfast (10:00-12:00), drinks-only tables (before 17:00, 2-hour limit), and bottle service tables. After 17:00 Thursday-Sunday, minimum spend is required including bottle service.

What's the dress code for VIP area?

Smart casual attire is required for VIP area. Flip-flops are NOT permitted.

Can I cancel my VIP reservation?

Cancellation policy is 4 days (96 hours) prior for full refund. VIP tables require 100% deposit in advance which will not be refunded if cancelled late or no-show.

Do I need a reservation for breakfast?

Breakfast is served in the Lounge area from 10:00 to 12:00 and no reservation is required.

Can I reserve a lounge table during the day?

Yes, daytime lounge reservations can be made until 15:00, are free of charge, and can be booked online. The maximum duration is 2 hours.

VIP tables with minimum spend – do they require payment in advance?

Yes, VIP tables with a minimum spend require 100% payment in advance to confirm the reservation

What is included in the VIP minimum spend?

The minimum spend can be used for premium bottles, champagne, sushi, and snacks

Where are you located? How do I find you?

Blue Marlin Ibiza is located at Playa de Cala Jondal, 07829 Sant Josep de Sa Talaia, Ibiza. Get directions via Google Maps.

Hours

What time do you open?

We open at 10:30 AM. Breakfast is served from 10:00 AM on the terrace and from 11:00 AM on the beach.

What time do you close?

Music outside until 11 PM. After 11 PM we continue inside until around 2 AM. In low season during the week, we might close earlier.

Pricing

Is there an entrance fee?

We don’t charge entrance. On busy days, we recommend making a reservation to guarantee entry. Without a reservation on busy days, there may be a wait when we’re full.

Can I add more people to my reservation?

Additional guests must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance. Last-minute additions may require separate seating or increased minimum spend for VIP tables. We reserve the right to refuse entry to extra guests without prior notice.

What if I'm late? Will I lose my deposit?

Yes, late arrivals may lose their deposit. We hold tables for 15 minutes after reservation time. For urgent cases, contact refunds@bluemarlinibiza.com to explain your situation. Response may take a few days/weeks.

When does the deposit payment link expire?

All deposit payment links expire 24 hours after being sent via email. Please complete payment within this timeframe to secure your booking.

What happens if I arrive late?

Beach: Arrive 11:00-14:00 (loungers) or 11:00-15:00 (big beds). VIP: Must arrive before 19:00. Restaurant: Table held 15 minutes. Late arrival results in LOSS of reservation AND deposit.

What do I need to bring for beach/VIP reservations?

You’ll need to fill out a form with: Name, ID/NIE/Passport number, address, email, telephone, and credit card. We keep your credit card until invoice is finalized. Photo ID required.

Can I get an invoice?

Yes, please let us know in advance if you need an invoice so we can prepare it the same day. Maximum time for invoices is one week after the booking date.

What happens if I don't show up?

No-shows forfeit their entire deposit with no refund. For beach/VIP: must arrive during specified time windows. For restaurant: 15-minute grace period.

Where can I read the full terms and conditions?

Full terms and conditions are available on our website. Key policies: 4-day cancellation for full refund, deposits required, arrive on time, minimum spends apply.

Do reservations require a deposit?

Yes, all reservations require a deposit to confirm. The payment link expires after 24 hours.

Can different areas be combined into one reservation?

No, each area must be reserved separately and will have separate bills

Are all areas outdoors?

Yes, all three areas (Beach, Restaurant, and VIP) are outdoor spaces.

Weather

What if it rains on my booking day?

If it rains, we offer the option to: 1) Move your deposit to another day, 2) Transfer to our other restaurant Yemanja, or 3) Receive a full refund.

Beach

How much are beach sun loungers?

Single sun loungers: €30 hire fee (€10 rent + €20 amenities) PLUS €70 minimum spend per person. Price includes shade with 1 umbrella per 2 loungers. Arrive between 11:00-14:00 or lose your reservation and deposit.

How much are big beds on the beach?

Big beds: €100 hire fee (€20 rent + €80 amenities) PLUS €500 minimum spend = €600 total per bed. Accommodates 4 guests. Includes umbrella, fruit bowl, and 4 waters. Deposit required within 24 hours. Arrive between 11:00-15:00.

What time does the beach close?

Beach area service closes around 20:00 (8 PM). Restaurant and lounge areas continue later.

Does beach minimum spend include restaurant bills?

No. Beach minimum spend includes ONLY food and beverages from the beach menu. Restaurant bills and Lounge table bills are NOT included in beach minimum spend.

Do you provide beach towels?

Towels are available on request to rent or buy. They are not included in the beach reservation.

Can I cancel my beach reservation?

For 1-9 beds: Full refund if cancelled 4 days (96 hours) before. For 10+ beds: Full refund only if cancelled one month prior to event date.

Can I have breakfast on the beach?

Yes, breakfast is served on the beach from 11:00 AM onwards. Terrace breakfast starts from 10:00 AM.

What are the beach opening hours?

The beach area is open from 11:00 until 20:00

Can you guarantee the exact location of my beach bed or restaurant table?

Specific locations cannot be guaranteed, but you may add a request when making the reservation and we will do our best to accommodate it.

Will our group be seated together on the beach?

Yes, groups are always seated together whenever possible. However, if reservations are made separately, we cannot guarantee that they will be placed together.

Once my reservation ends, can I stay in the venue?

After your reservation ends, you are welcome to continue enjoying the venue in other areas.

Do you provide towels?

Towels are available for rent or purchase at the beach area and the Blue Marlin Ibiza shop.

Restaurant

How much is the restaurant deposit?

Restaurant deposits: 1-12 guests = €50/person, 13+ guests = €100/person. Deposit is deducted from final bill.

How long can I stay at my restaurant table?

Seating times: 1-8 guests = 2 hours, 9-12 guests = 2.5 hours, 13+ guests = 3 hours. After your meal, you can join the bar and enjoy the party.

Can I choose my table location?

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee specific table location in advance. We do our best to accommodate preferences when possible.

Can kids dine in the restaurant?

Yes, children are welcome in the restaurant. Please confirm the number of guests under 18 when booking.

What's the restaurant cancellation policy?

Full refund if cancelled 4 days (96 hours) prior to booking date. Deposit link expires 24 hours after receiving via email.

Will there be a delay on busy days?

On peak days, a short delay of approximately 10-15 minutes may occur. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility.

Do you have luggage storage?

Yes, we offer safe storage for belongings, suitcases, or bags. Cost is €10 per piece.

Can I bring private security/bodyguard?

Access by private security is at company discretion. Security must check in with client, present credentials, and show equipment. We’ll show them where they can position themselves.

Do you have another restaurant?

Yes, we have Yemanjá, our sister restaurant. If your Blue Marlin Ibiza reservation can’t be accommodated (e.g., rain), we can transfer your deposit there.

Are there changing rooms and showers?

We do not have changing rooms, but there is one shower available at the beach.

Do you have a cloakroom?

Yes, we have a cloakroom service. The cost is €10 per backpack, payable in cash.
